A handsome 1928 Pace 25-cent slot machine featuring a cast metal front with floral/starburst textured panels, red “PACE” lettering, fruit-and-bell reel strips marked “National,” and an exposed coin payout wheel visible through the right front window. The machine is housed in a wood-sided cabinet with a stepped wooden base and retains its top “25¢ PLAY” handle area, front award card, coin entry, rear access door, key, and interior mechanism with care instructions affixed inside. Serial number appears to read 2098. The piece shows age-appropriate wear, patina, oxidation, paint loss, surface scratches, and some finish wear to the wood base, with visible internal mechanical components.
