Co. of Hawthorn, Pennsylvania, featuring a cream-colored glazed exterior with bold cobalt-blue stenciled lettering and a central “3” capacity mark. The tall cylindrical form has a rolled rim, two applied lug handles, and a dark brown glazed interior. A handsome piece of Pennsylvania advertising stoneware with scattered surface marks, discoloration, and minor glaze wear. Approx. dimensions (in): 12.75 x 9.5 x 9.
