An impressive antique Austrian Amphora pottery vase, circa 1900, featuring a finely rendered portrait of a regal maiden wearing an ornate jeweled crown and elaborate period costume. The sculptural form has a flared, lobed mouth with sweeping gilt handles, while the hand-decorated body displays rich teal, lavender, pink and green tones accented by raised enamel floral details and extensive gilding. The underside bears a partially legible red factory mark and impressed numbers. Presented in antique condition with age-related crazing, surface wear, rubbing and losses to the gilt decoration, minor firing irregularities and other imperfections visible in the photographs.
