Antique Spanish Colonial carved wood religious figure depicting a crowned female saint in flowing robes, holding a book in one hand while extending the other in a welcoming gesture. The sculpture retains traces of its original painted and gilded surface, with a dark, timeworn patina throughout, and is mounted on a later square wooden base. An old handwritten paper label is affixed to the reverse, with the inscription partially illegible. Visible surface wear, paint loss, age cracks, and minor losses are consistent with the figure’s age and devotional use. Approx. dimensions (in): 10.25 x 4 x 3.5.
