A finely modeled Boehm limited edition porcelain wildlife sculpture depicting a downy tern in flight above a coastal nest scene, with speckled eggs, a newly hatched chick, shells, stones, and driftwood-form base. The tern is shown with outstretched wings and orange beak and feet, beautifully detailed with naturalistic feathering and soft hand-painted tones. Also included is a coordinating Boehm porcelain lizard-on-driftwood figure, visible beside the bird in the group image. The underside bears the Boehm mark reading “Limited Edition Downy Tern Sterna alba 457, Made in U.S.A.,” and the base is artist signed “Boehm.” An impressive and decorative American porcelain grouping for collectors of Boehm, bird studies, and coastal wildlife sculpture. Condition appears very good overall with minor surface wear consistent with age and handling. Approx. biggest bird dimensions (in): 15 x 14 x 8.5.
