A bold and decorative ceramic vase with a rounded, compressed ovoid body, short raised neck, and glossy cream glaze accented by hand-applied black vertical striping. The stripes radiate from the mouth and base, following the curve of the form and giving the piece a strong graphic, almost Art Deco or mid-century modern presence. The glaze shows fine overall crazing, scattered kiln specks, and subtle surface irregularities consistent with hand-finished ceramic work. The underside is glazed with an unglazed foot ring and bears a black painted mark or inventory number.
