“Aphrodite,” a limited edition cold-painted bronze sculpture by Russian-French artist Erté, born Romain de Tirtoff, depicting an elegant Art Deco female figure in flowing drapery with gilt-highlighted accents, radiating headpiece, and decorative fan-form standard. The sculpture is finished in rich bronze, brown, gold, and black tones, mounted on a glossy black tiered base. The base bears an incised signature and is marked “Fine Art Acquisitions © 1986,” numbered “167/375,” indicating its limited edition issue. The underside retains a felt pad. The piece presents beautifully with strong decorative presence and classic Erté styling, showing visible surface wear, scuffs, small chips, finish losses, and minor dust or residue consistent with age and handling. Approx. dimensions (in): 18.75 x 10.5 x 5.
