Collection of three circa World War I black-and-white Sanke postcard portraits depicting German flying aces Hans Martin Pippart (1888–1918), Hans Karl Müller (1892–1977), and Kurt Wüsthoff (1897–1926), each shown in military uniform and bearing a signature across the image. Pippart was credited with 22 aerial victories, Müller with nine, and Wüsthoff with 27. Each postcard measures approximately 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches and is mounted on a three-hole-punched biographical reference sheet. The group is accompanied by documentation from Signature House describing the three postcards. Vintage condition with age-related toning, corner and surface wear, fading, and some silvering and reduced contrast, particularly to the Wüsthoff portrait; mounting residue or corner mounts may be present.
