The varied fittings depict dragons, birds, rabbits, flowers, fruit, figures and other traditional motifs. The hinged rectangular box opens to a green fabric-lined interior and retains its brass hinges, with surface wear, scratches, small losses, loose or damaged fittings and wear to the lining consistent with age and use.
