Large Japanese Satsuma style porcelain vase mounted as a two-light table lamp, featuring richly hand-painted figural panels with samurai warriors, birds, blossoming trees, butterflies, peonies, and colorful floral decoration throughout. The baluster-form vase has a flared neck and detailed polychrome enamel work with gilt accents, set on a dark circular base and fitted with a metal lamp stem, twin sockets, pull chains, and finial. A decorative and highly detailed Asian export style piece, ideal for use as a statement table lamp or display object. Condition shows age-related wear, tarnish to the metal fittings, and some losses/wear to the base, as pictured. There is a hairline crack extending from the top rim.
