Signed and framed John Stobart limited edition maritime print titled Pittsburgh: The Sidewheel-Steamer “Dean Adams” arriving at the Point in 1880. This atmospheric river scene depicts the historic sidewheel steamer Dean Adams approaching Pittsburgh at dusk, with glowing cabin lights, smoke stacks, bridges, and the city skyline in the background. The print is pencil signed by the artist and numbered 800/950, with the printed copyright date of 1987 and publisher line for Maritime Heritage Prints, Inc. It is presented under glass in a double-matted gilt and wood frame. The backing shows some paper loss and wear, but the print displays well overall and would make an excellent piece for collectors of John Stobart, Pittsburgh history, steamboat, maritime, or Americana artwork. Approx. frame size (in): 33 x 44 x 1.25, Approx. painting size (in): 22 x 33.
