Pair of carved and painted wooden loon decoys or decorative bird figures, each modeled in a swimming pose with long neck, pointed bill, red glass eyes, black and cream painted plumage, spotted backs, carved feather detail, and green-painted webbed feet. The undersides are stamped or carved “WEK,” for William Kirkpatrick. The birds retain a pleasing folk-art surface with visible hand-carving, paint wear, scuffs, small chips, and age-related surface abrasions throughout, consistent with display and handling. A charming signed pair with strong form and decorative presence, well suited for collectors of contemporary folk art, sporting decoys, or carved bird sculpture. Approx. dimensions (in): 14.25 x 9.25 x 10.75.
