Offered here is a striking antique electric fan by Robbins & Myers Co. of Springfield, Ohio, a well-known early American manufacturer of electric motors and fans. This example features a beautifully styled Art Deco design with a sculptural cast iron base and geometric openwork cage, retaining its original black and gold-toned finish with attractive age wear. The maker’s tag is present, indicating 110 volts, 60 cycles, alternating current, and list number 9304. The fan retains its original motor housing, blade, wiring, and toggle switch, along with a period-style cord. The base is decorated with a classic emblem and stepped design typical of the late 1920s–1930s era. Condition shows honest age, including surface wear, patina, and dust accumulation, consistent with long-term use and storage. A wonderful display piece for collectors of early electrical appliances, Art Deco design, or industrial antiques, with great visual appeal whether restored or left in as-found condition. Approx. dimensions (in): 12.5 x 9.75 x 6.5.
