A charming and authentic collection of nine antique cabinet card and early photographic portraits dating to the late 19th and early 20th century, featuring men, women, and children captured in classic Victorian and Edwardian-era studio settings. The lot includes a variety of formats and tones, from sepia to albumen and an especially striking blue-toned portrait, with several examples bearing photographer imprints from locations such as New York, Philadelphia, and Bangor, Pennsylvania. Notable are the finely dressed couple portrait from Paris Art Studio (1540 Third Ave, New York), a delicately composed children’s portrait from Blazier of Bangor, PA, and multiple individual female portraits showcasing period fashion and hairstyles. One card retains a decorative studio back (M. L. Goodman, New York), while others are blank or lightly annotated in pencil. Condition is consistent with age, showing expected wear such as toning, edge wear, minor spotting, and handling marks, but overall presenting well with strong visual appeal. A wonderful grouping for collectors of antique photography, genealogy enthusiasts, or display. Approx. biggest piece size (in): 9.75 x 6.
