Antique 3 gallon stoneware jug marked “W.M. Moyer, Harrisburg PA,” featuring a warm salt-glazed surface with cobalt blue floral and leafy decoration surrounding the large hand-painted “3” capacity mark. The jug has a classic ovoid form with applied handle, tooled shoulder, impressed maker’s mark, and original-looking wooden stopper. Condition shows expected age and use, including surface wear, glaze variations, scratches, small chips and losses, staining, and an area of damage/loss visible on the underside, as shown.
