Detailed hand-painted World War I military metal toy soldiers diorama depicting British soldiers occupying and defending a fortified trench, with numerous figures shown advancing, climbing ladders, standing guard, carrying rifles and lying wounded across the battlefield. The trench façade includes dugout openings, sandbags, equipment and hand-lettered signs reading “Dublin,” “Cook House” and “Donegal,” while a separate figure operates a belt-fed Vickers machine gun on a tripod. An elaborate display filled with individual figures and realistic battlefield details. Approx. dimensions (in): 4.5 x 17.75 x 5.75.
