Shipping
Buyers are responsible for all shipping, handling, and insurance costs. The auction house offers in-house shipping for eligible items; availability is subject to item size, fragility, value, and destination. In-house shipping is offered at the auctioneer’s discretion and is not guaranteed for all lots. All in-house shipping quotes apply to deliveries within the continental United States only. Bidders are encouraged to contact the auction house prior to bidding to confirm whether a specific item qualifies for in-house shipping and to obtain an estimate. Shipping quotes are estimates only and may be subject to change based on final packing requirements. Items may also be collected in person or shipped using a third-party carrier of the buyer’s choosing. The auction house does not assume responsibility for the actions, estimates, or performance of third-party shippers. Local pickup is available Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., by appointment. The auctioneer strongly recommends that bidders obtain a shipping estimate prior to placing a bid. The auctioneer, NJ Antiques, reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse participation in this auction by any bidder, whether participating in person, online, by telephone, or by absentee bid. The auctioneer makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding any item offered for sale. All weights, measurements, dates, attributions, and descriptions are approximate and are provided for informational purposes only. Bidders are strongly encouraged to carefully review all photographs and descriptions and to ask any questions prior to placing a bid. The auction house is not responsible for typographical or clerical errors. All descriptions, condition reports, and statements made by the auctioneer or staff are opinions only and shall not be construed as statements of fact or guarantees of authenticity. All property is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted under any circumstances. All purchased items must be removed within thirty (30) days of the auction date. Items not collected within this period will be subject to storage fees of $10.00 per lot, per day, with no exceptions. Failure to collect purchased items within forty-five (45) days of the auction date will result in forfeiture of ownership. At that time, the auction house reserves the right to resell, consign, or donate the item(s) without notice, unless prior written arrangements have been made.
