Group of five antique majolica plates featuring richly molded botanical and seaside designs, including a large grape leaf plate, strawberry blossom plate, begonia-style leaf plate, shell and coral motif plate, and a green leaf plate with yellow border. The pieces display classic majolica glazing in vibrant greens, yellows, browns, pinks, and turquoise tones with high-relief decoration and glossy crazed surfaces. Two plates appear to bear impressed circular factory marks, including a Minton-style mark, with additional impressed or painted numerals visible on the undersides. Condition varies, with age-related crazing, glaze wear, rim flakes, chips, hairlines, and underside discoloration noted, as shown. A decorative grouping of 19th-century style English majolica plates suitable for display or collection. Approx. biggest plate diameter (in): 9.25.
