A charming pair of majolica-style ceramic shallow bowls or dishes modeled as naturalistic begonia leaves, each with scalloped, irregular rims and molded veining. The interiors feature glossy green leaf decoration with pale yellow ground and soft pink edging, while the undersides are glazed in a mottled tan/yellow tone with raised oval foot rings. Each piece bears an impressed monogram-style maker’s mark on the underside. These decorative dishes display wonderful organic form and vibrant color, ideal for display, serving, or addition to a majolica or botanical ceramic collection. Condition appears good overall with typical glaze crazing, kiln speckling, and minor surface wear consistent with age and use. One tray has chip on the backside of tray. Approx. dimensions (in): 2 x 9 x 6.75.
