A finely detailed British watercolor by Adam Knight (1855–1931), titled Brayford Pool, Lincoln, depicting the historic waterfront at Lincoln with moored boats, dockside figures, industrial buildings, and the cathedral towers rising through the atmospheric haze beyond. Signed and dated 1920 lower left, the work demonstrates Knight’s delicate handling of light, reflection, and architectural detail, with warm tonal washes and lively touches of color throughout the harbor scene. Presented under glass in a gilt frame with layered matting, the reverse bears an identifying gallery label listing the artist, title, medium, and dimensions of 10 1/4 x 14 3/4 inches, along with additional older backing labels and framer/dealer marks. A charming early 20th-century English watercolor view of one of Lincoln’s most recognizable waterside locations. Approx. frame size (in): 18.25 x 23.5 x 0.75, Approx. painting size (in): 10.25 x 14.5.
