An impressive carved wood throne chair featuring sweeping dragon-form arms with open mouths and pearl details, eagle-form finials, a curved slatted seat, and a relief-carved back panel depicting birds among flowering branches. The dramatic horseshoe-shaped frame is embellished with scrolling cloud motifs and a large guardian-mask carving above the arched base, which terminates in carved paw feet fitted with casters.
