Colorful Made in England majolica-style ceramic pitcher featuring a raised marshland scene with white herons or egrets among cattails and foliage against a deep cobalt blue ground. The piece has a flared square-form rim with a warm yellow edge, red glazed interior, molded floral and leaf accents, and a brown textured figural handle. The underside is marked Made in England, with visible age-related crazing, glaze variation, and minor surface wear consistent with use and display. A decorative and eye-catching English pottery piece, well suited for collectors of bird, wetlands, or Victorian-inspired majolica. Approx. dimensions (in): 7 x 5.25 x 4.5.
