(Hamburg American Clock Co.) mantel clock housed in a solid oak case with turned columns, beveled glass front door, and a silvered Roman numeral dial accented by gilt spandrels and ornate black hands. The rear retains its original H.A.C. "Made in Wurttemberg" label, and the brass movement is stamped "164/36" over "130." The clock is fitted with a pendulum, coiled gong, and winding key, and features a time-and-strike movement housed within the original case. A handsome German mantel clock with classic late 19th to early 20th century styling, well suited for display or restoration. Approx. dimensions (in): 11.25 x 10.25 x 6.25.
