The print bears Japanese calligraphy in the upper right and a red seal mark near the lower left, with a handwritten notation on the backing reading “Kono Baire 1844–1895” and “Bought in Munich – 1980 – DM 250.” Presented under matting in a black frame, this Meiji-period avian composition shows age toning, mat discoloration, and expected wear consistent with age and framing.
