Archive of five pieces associated with German merchant submarine captain Paul König, including an inscribed photographic portrait dated 1916, a signed postcard depicting the cargo submarine Deutschland, a typed letter dated March 21, 1936 thanking Edgar Jarchow for his “campaign contribution” and ending “Long live freedom,” its postmarked envelope, and a related postal delivery receipt. An uncommon grouping of German maritime, submarine and historical memorabilia spanning the First World War and interwar periods. Approx. size (in): 5.5 x 3.5 (postcard).
