Typed letter signed by Theodore Roosevelt, dated November 23, 1914, on his Thirty East Forty-Second Street, New York City letterhead and addressed to Colonel William Cary Sanger. Roosevelt discusses organizing a movement to establish a Swiss-style military system in the United States, stating that Sanger was particularly suited to direct it, and concludes with an invitation for Colonel and Mrs. Sanger to lunch. Signed “Theodore Roosevelt” in pencil, with original folds, light toning, and scattered spotting. Approx. size (in): 9.5 x 7.75.
