Vintage Buddy L pressed steel dump truck toy, marked with the original underside label reading “Buddy L Line Quality Toys, Built by Moline Pressed Steel Co., East Moline, Ill.” This early toy truck features a black painted body with red spoked wheels, silver/white tires, open cab styling, and a functioning rear dump bed. The piece shows age-appropriate wear throughout, including paint loss, scratches, surface soiling, and heavier chipping/loss to the front fenders, as shown. A desirable early Buddy L display piece with strong form, original character, and excellent shelf presence for collectors of antique pressed steel toys, transportation toys, or early American toy trucks.
