Collection of World War II German naval memorabilia centered on U-boat commanders and the submarine U-995, including an “Act of Military Surrender” typescript signed by Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz and dated May 9, 1977; a commemorative cover signed by Dönitz, Erich Topp, Reinhard Suhren, Otto Kretschmer, and RAF Squadron Leader T. M. Bulloch; a signed Erich Topp photograph; five wartime photographs; a portrait of Hans-Georg Hess; a U-995 museum postcard; the German-language book Die Männer von U 995; a typed account of Germany’s surrender by Edward Kennedy; and a Signature House certificate of authenticity.
