Four-piece political memorabilia lot relating to New York Governor and 1928 Democratic presidential nominee Alfred E. Smith, including an inscribed and signed portrait photograph, a circular “Al Smith for President – American Liberty” campaign display, 1924 sheet music for “The Sidewalks of New York” dedicated to Governor Smith, and a November 8, 1928 Associated Press photograph depicting Smith with Franklin D. Roosevelt and Herbert H. Lehman. A compelling group of New York and presidential campaign ephemera.
