A handsome antique salt-glazed stoneware jug featuring a rounded ovoid body, short rolled rim, and applied loop handle, decorated with freehand cobalt blue floral or foliate motifs around the shoulder and neck. The surface shows a warm beige-gray glaze with attractive orange-peel texture, age crazing, kiln marks, and expected wear consistent with early utilitarian stoneware.
